The main body is formed from a piece of aluminium lithographic printing plate , the ends are Plasticard. The wagon on the transporter is (I think) a Parkside Dundas kit, the other wagon is an EM conversion of a Lima R-T-R wagon.

Underneath is fairly basic, a bit of lead for weight - the wheel sets are half of an N gauge coach bogie - Minitrix I think but may have been Farish - cardboard is glued to the underframe with a loose bit poking into the slot where the N gauge coupling was - this was to stop the wheelset spinning round on its pivot - it seemed to work quite well as I recall. The arrows were to indicate the preferred direction of travel, I seem to remember that it went better in one direction that the other!
