12 June 2007 — A Hornby 8F trundles a mixed rake of Hornby, Bachmann, Dapol and Airfix wagons around a makeshift layout, passed by Hornby 6204 Princess Louise on an express made up of Airfix, Bachmann, Mainline and Hornby coaching stock and yes, that is a GWR coach leading... it's a through working from Birmingham ho hum, lah de dah...

04 November 2007 — Trains in the garden - New boards phase 1A. After much wood bothering and glue spreading the new boards finally get it together - 5055 on christening run.

26 January 2008 — The first "Trains in the Garden" running day of 2008 and it's an L M S-tastic, four track, L M S-a-thon!

01 June 2008 — Phase 1B sees the new boards extended to their finished length of eighten feet - any more and they won't fit in the garden... BR standard 4 and KGV stretch their legs on the new extended run. Music edited from "The Dreams of Men" by Pallas - splendid album, go and buy it...

I really, really, really must apply myself and build a proper layout!
